If you are
related with the art world, you must know "Google Arts & Culture".
It´s a great app where you can serch a specific artwork in HD. From
the Gallery, users can zoom in on a particular artwork to view the picture in
greater detail. You can even zoom to
the point where you can see the brushstroke of Seuret in "A sunday on la
Grande Jatte". It's amazing!!
Also users
can log in with their Google Account to create their own collection and these
artworks are protected with copyright. It is really useful to assemble your
artistic portfolio.
The
proyect was launched on February 1, 2011 by Google and it´s great, I can
find masterpieces in a really good quality. However, there are many artworks
that are not in the app.
Every day
Google updates the app, the platform now features more than 32,000 artworks
from 46 museums, and image acquisition is underway at the remaining partner
museums. Someday, perhaps, all artworks
will be in the web for us.
